Over 200 delegates attended the annual NPW conference held on 12 March 2013 in Broad Street Birmingham. Dr Alex Kenyon of Leeds Metropolitan University presented delegates with the results of a Pubwatch evaluation project commissioned by NPW. The universities findings give a clear endorsement that Pubwatch not only plays a significant role in improving safety and reducing crime and anti social behaviour but also greatly improves the working relationship between members and the statutory agencies. An evaluation report will be made available to Pubwatch members in due course. However the Morning Advertiser has produced good coverage of the evaluation.
