On 1st July 2026, Inspector Pete Newman presented a National Pubwatch Award to Holly Tickner at a Durham Pubwatch meeting.
Holly a dynamite Pink employee received the award in recognition of her professionalism in responding to a vulnerable female.
While working at Lost Minds Festival in August 2025 at Exhibition Park, Newcastle, Holly witnessed a young woman suffering from a seizure. The woman’s boyfriend froze, panicked and was unsure how to respond.
Recognising the seriousness of the moment, Holly immediately stepped in, ensuring the woman was safe and unable to injure herself. She calmly reassured the boyfriend and instructed him to remain with his girlfriend and talk to her while she urgently sought medical assistance from a paramedic.
Once help arrived, and the girl came round Holly provided her with water to help her rehydrate and recover.
