Hull is set to launch two new local pubwatches with the support and advice of National Pubwatch.
National Pubwatch regional rep Michael Kheng recently attended a meeting about the setting up of the Hull City Centre Pubwatch, which already has the support of around 30 pubs and bars. There are also plans for a second local pubwatch outside the city centre.
These two pubwatches are being set up in partnership with local venues as well as Humberside Police, Hull BID, and Hull City Council. It is expected the Hull City Centre Pubwatch scheme will be formalised within the next month.
National Pubwatch regional rep Michael Kheng said: “This is great news that there is so much support across agencies for the launch of these new pubwatches.
“Our regional reps are always here to help any licensees that want to set up a local pubwatch.”
